Hissing Cockroaches

We have a variety of Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches from the dwarf hissing cockroaches to the giant hissing cockroaches.

Each species are kept in sealed enclosures to prevent escapees and hybridisation, we want to keep the species pure as many Madagascan hissing cockroaches in the hobby are hybrids.

If you currently have any kind of giant or dwarf hissnIg cockroach and are not sure of its species or if it is a confirmed species PLEASE KEEP ANY OF OUR SPECIES SEPERATE FROM HAT YOU HAVE, JUST IN CASE

It has taken us time, but we have managed to get hold of 7 of the roughly 20 known Madagascan hissing cockroaches.

 

We even have the largest species of the giant hissing cockroach - Gromphadorhina oblongonota and the smallest of the dwarf hissing cockroaches - Elliptorhina davidi.

The diverse characteristics between the hissing cockroach species is just amazing, some are more glossy, some hiss more than others, some prefer to climb whiles others will burrow more and the colour range between them all from nymph to adult is fun to watch as the grow.

Please note that some of the species of Madagascan hissing cockroaches are extremely rare and very hard to find n the UK.

NOTE:
It is essential to keep any cockroach species in it's own enclosure to prevent cross breeding with similar species. This is extremely relevent to any of the hissing cockroaches as cross breeding is unfortunatitly far too common and it is imperative to keep any species pure.
WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON HAVING PURE COCKROACH SPECIES AND ALWAYS STATE THE GENUS AND SPECIES, IF THERE IS NO GENUS OR SPECIES NAMED, THEN IT IS EITHER UNKNOWN OR A HYBRID.
