Food - Aretaon asperrimus Thorny Stick Insect will eat the leaves of bramble, raspberry, wild rose, oak, beech, hazel

 

Description - The females of Aretaon asperrimus thorny stick insect are larger than the males A mature females body length is around 7cm and dark brown in colouration while a mature male is around 5cm is also dark brown in appearance with a light yellowish strip down the centre of the back.

 

Breeding - All you need is 1 mature male and 1 female of Aretaon asperrimus the thorny stick Insect to breed.

 

How We Keep Them - We keep our Aretaon asperrimus thorny stick insects in tall glass enclosures with plenty of ventilation a damp leaf litter base, mist well every 1-2 days.
