How I Keep Mine

Housing: 

We keep our Pachnoda ephippiata in any kind of see through plastic or glass container relative to the amount of beetles or larvae you have. Plenty of ventilation is a must.

 

Substrate:

For the larvae of Pachnoda ephippiata - Oak/Beech/Sweet Chestnut leaf litter, or a mix of these. 

 

Temperature:

Room temperture 28 - 32ºC / 82 - 89ºF

 

Humidity:

70%

Pachnoda ephippiata larvae: Leaf litter (decaying oak, beech, sweet chestnut leaves)
